Anti Wheelie

Buona sera a tutti,

qualcuno sarebbe così gentile da spiegarmi come interviene l'Anti Wheelie?
Ovvero, consente di sollevare la ruota anteriore fino ad un certo punto e poi taglia (...dolcemente, bruscamente?), oppure interviene immediatamente e previene l'impennata?
Il funzionamento è uguale in tutti i rapporti?
E' regolabile o si può solo attivare/disattivare?

Chiedo per prossimo acquisto 890 Adventure (non so se tra 790 e 890 cambi qualcosa in merito).

Ti rispondo in quelle cose che conosco: no, non è regolabile...si attiva e disattiva. Non previene, nel senso che se dai gas e stacchi di cattiveria la frizione l'impennata la fai.
lascia alzare appena la ruota di qualche grado e poi taglia potenza al motore, dolcemente, e la moto torna dritta. Il funzionamento è il medesimo per ogni marcia.
Per le altre cose meglio sentire gli altri.

Danger of accidents. When Anti Wheelie Mode is disabled, the motorcycle traction control no longer counteracts the raising of the front wheel.
– Only switch off the Anti Wheelie Mode if you have the appropriate experience.

We must politely stress that the Anti-Wheelie Mode is a driver aid, and not a replacement for driver judgement or appropriate operation of a motor vehicle whilst on public roads. Ultimately, driver aids cannot defy the laws of physics; so even with the Anti-Wheelie Mode enabled (on), if a driver decides to apply high revs and suddenly releases the clutch, the front wheel will lift before the driver aid can engage. All riders using public roads are expected to use their judgement and alter their driving style according to road and traffic conditions.

Ulteriore info:
In the menu, go to MOTORCYCLE and highlight MTC + MSR and hold the set button until MTC and MSR is turned off. This completely disables traction control and will allow the bike to wheelie with no intervention.

Mi spiace deluderti ma non vedo un menu che disattivi solo anti-wheelie si puo disabilitare il controllo di trazione, non ho la nuova quindi su quella non so'.
Ma forse se scarichi il manuale utente dal sito lo scopri, sempre che ci sia gia'.

Presumo che l'anti-wheelie si configuri unicamente nel TC ...

a meno che non sia presente un apposito sensore di ribaltamento, atto a ridurre l'angolo d'impennata oltre un certo limite (forse presente sull'SDR 1290 ).

Diavolerie elettroniche al pari dell'anti-spin (per il pattinamento ruota alla partenza) o il launch-control (sempre per le partenze) ...roba da pistate ad un CERTO livello ...stop

qui hai una spiegazione completa delle mappature e di cosa attiva/disattiva... come vedi awm si disattiva su offroad e rally se compri il pacchetto rally.
Cmq per disattivarlo come dice Cesar basta disattivare l'mtc..magari lui ti può confermare se impenna

Offroad
Throttle control: Less direct than street, and more linear, to give more control in technical areas. Allows the rider to be more precise with the bike power delivery.
MTC: on (unless MTC is turned off), but less intrusive, allows for some slip. The lean sensor is disabled to allow the rider to uses a berm, sand dune or rut to lean into a turn.
Anti Wheelie: Off
The go-to mode for almost everything offroad. Not ideal on the road as the amount of slip allowed is quite important. But okay for short stints on the road between two tracks. Be aware that the MTC lean sensor is off here, so a big handful of throttle in a turn with off-road tires will launch your bike sideways…

Rally
Rally mode is an option on the 790 S, standard on the R and Rally.

Throttle control: can be manually selected from Street, Offroad and Rally. Street and Offroad are apparently the same as in their relative modes. Rally throttle control is extremely direct, the throttle control turns into a virtual on/off switch.
MTC: Fully controllable from 9–full on to 1–almost off (Unless MTC is turned completely off). Lean angle sensor is disabled to allow the rider to uses a berm, sand dune or rut to lean into a turn. The amount of slip allowed can be changed on the fly with the up/down button on the handle bar. It is thought that 9 is roughly what Street and Rain mode are calibrated for, and 7 is where Offroad mode probably is. Use 5-6 for sliding around on fire roads, 3 for deep gravel, 2-1 for sand. For a slippery technical climb put it on 7, throttle up and let the bike climb by itself, it’s uncanny.
Anti Wheelie: Off

Quindi, nelle modalità Offroad e Rally Anti-Wheelie e controllo di trazione possono essere gestiti separatamente.

Unico difetto che vedo e" che in OFF road ti taglia la potenza , togli ABS al posteriore e tutto ilTC quindi su strada non lo vedo bene, per contro il Rally mi pare piu' configurabile ma mi pare costi sui 400

Solo con la mappa Rally opzionale a pagamento, puoi disattivare l'anti-wheelie.

C'è molta confusione ragazzi.. eppure il manuale parla chiaro.

La moto dispone di serie di 3 modalità di guida: Rain, Street e Offroad. In Rain e Street l'anti impennata è attivo, mentre in Offroad è disattivo. In queste tre modalità la moto gestisce automaticamente il controllo di trazione (MTC). In particolare, Rain e Street sfruttano anche la piattaforma inerziale in modo tale da aumentare la sensibilità dell'MTC in base alla velocità e all'angolo di piega.

A parte è possibile installare la modalità Rally, che disattiva l'anti wheeling e permette di impostare manualmente il livello di sensibilità dell'MTC senza che questo interferisca con la piattaforma inerziale.

Quindi in modalità Offroad e Rally l'anti wheeling è disattivato, mentre nelle modalità Rain e Street è attivo.

Non fate però confusione con la risposta acceleratore della modalità Rally, in quanto questa serve solo a modificare l'erogazione del motore mantenendo tutte le impostazioni previste dalla modalità Rally.
